May 9 — Day of Remembrance and Honor is being widely celebrated across our country. In connection with this auspicious date, the team of the Samarkand Regional Department of the State Assets Management Agency visited the "Memory Square" and took part in the flower-laying ceremony at the foot of the "Mourning Mother" monument.

During the event, staff members laid flowers at the monument, paying high tribute to the memory of our ancestors who sacrificed their lives in World War II. Remembering the fallen and honoring the courage of our compatriots who fought for our present peaceful and tranquil days is the human duty of each of us.

During the visit, the management of the department emphasized the value of peace:
"As long as memory lives, the nation survives; as long as there is honor, the future is bright. The silence prevailing in the square today reminds us once again of what a supreme blessing peace is, and that protecting it like the apple of our eye is the duty of everyone."

The atmosphere of serenity and reverence at the Mother's monument allowed everyone to feel the value of a peaceful life once more. Such events are not only an expression of high respect for our history but also play an important role in strengthening the sense of patriotism in the hearts of the younger generation.

The memory of the brave and courageous sons of our people will live forever in our hearts!
